Not knowing the plans, the Lord had for him, Peter had his eyes set on Melissa (PRC’s current Treasurer) in high school. However, due to her focusing on her academics and the Ministry, she did not notice Peter until years later. In 1999, they re-connected, and he started attending PRC regularly. Peter proposed in 2000 before Melissa participated in the Sydney Olympic Games. In 2001, they married.
Their two oldest children are heavily involved in PRC’s youth activities including Vacation Bible School. They also have two younger children, Moriah Jean (age: 6) and Peter John (PJ age:5).
Since the age of 5, Melissa Lynn Fejeran Lujan has grown up here at the Pacific Revival Center. She was the Salutatorian of the 1994 Graduating Class at Guam Community College’s Vocational High School. In 1998, Melissa graduated with Cum Laude Honors from the University of Guam (UOG) with a Double Major in Criminal Justice and Public Administration.
After graduating from UOG, she relocated temporarily to Florida and was a Correctional Officer for Escambia County. In 1999, Melissa returned to Guam and was employed by the Guam National Olympic Committee (GNOC) and participated in the South Pacific Games in the sport of Weightlifting. In 2000, she was Guam’s first female to participate in the Sydney Olympic Games’ debut of female athletes in Olympic Weightlifting.
In 2001, Melissa married Peter John C. Lujan, PRC’s Audio/Visual and Youth Director. She’s been serving as Treasurer for the past 10 years. She also currently is a PRC Board Member and the drummer on our Praise Team. Melissa is still also involved with the GNOC and currently serves as the Guam Weightlifting Federation (GWF) Secretary General and Treasurer.
